Exciting Year Ahead for Helping Hands!
With the tremendous news that Helping Hands has now got the official permission and the funding for building the new school, it is vital that we get the donations we need in order to cover the cost of the final build and running costs.
For our current Fundraising Campaign, we have set ourselves a goal of $10,000, which will cover, for example, additional salaries, running costs of all of our programmes and developing the garden and sports-field on the new land. Also since the fall of the British Pound, donations (which are very gratefully received) will not go quite as far as they used to.
No matter how large or how small, your donations are very welcome – even a small amount of money goes a long way in Cambodia! Just to put into perspective where the money goes, take a look at the list below:
The new land!
£12 or US$15 pays for 8 new books for our English and Khmer library
£18 or US$20 a month can ensure one student receives our full educational package for the year
£95 or US$120 a month would cover the cost of our part time Khmer Basic classroom, including teacher, books, chalk and pencils
£180 or $225 per month pays for a nutritious daily breakfast for 50 students
What we can achieve is only possible with your generous support and donations. Find out below how you can donate based on your location and the most suitable platform.
